Becoming a Partner
Becoming a partner is simple and has so many benefits.
What you Get:
- Increase your visibility in the community. The Chavez Center offers many promotional opportunities that reach more than 1,000 members, city residents, and more. Examples include recognition in blog or newsletter articles, at events, through our website, and more.
- Hire job‐ready employees or volunteers. Chavez Center members are prepared and prescreened for any position you need filled, saving you time and effort. In the past, our members have helped design coupons for businesses, office support for community organizations, and more.
- Access to skills training. Many businesses have taken advantage of our workshops by enrolling their employees. These have included landscaping workshops, computer repair certification, MS Office classes, and more.
- Join a movement. In becoming a partner you are joining the movement to create a brighter future for residents throughout the area. As a partner, you have the capacity and expertise to make a drastic transformation in the community.
What you Give:
- Professional expertise. Each of our partners has an area that they specialize in. This could include pro bono consulting to support the general operation of the nonprofit or specific program areas. Some past examples have included financial advice, business development, legal services, health resources, security and more.
- Giving in‐kind donations. With so much energy focused on supporting members and programs, the infrastructure often becomes out‐dated. Past contributions have included desks, computers, photography, web design, tables, and more.
- Mentoring a business. As businesses that we develop launch and become successful, they often would benefit from ongoing mentoring in addressing their future obstacles and decisions.
- Host a workshop. By providing space for a seminar or workshop, the Chavez Center is able to reach even more people through its programs. Learn more
